Not against meat

Tiffany and I are not against meat all together. We are not 100 percent vegan, close but not 100 percent. We do believe in some meat, very, very sparingly. We eat meat, mostly deer, about 1 to 3 times a month.

I personally do not like Chicken and Eggs, but I do love Turkey and we will have Turkey on Thanksgiving, Easter, etc... I think for Christmas we are having BBQ Deer Ribs on the grill....

Tiffany and the kids seem to eat eggs about every week at some point. So anyway, we are not like, no meat at all, just 1 or 2 times month generally...

New way of Eating

Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About
"You won't find a specific cure here, but you will find a reason to change your eating! Changing your eating is the "Natural Cure!" Most Tim and his family's changes started with the reading of this book. People question Keven's motives, but Tim believes Kevin has informed his family on the dangers and Tim's family feels the proof of the changes. Not long did Tim and his wife consult a nutritionist and discuss their feelings. Over the next few months, "the switch" became easier and easier. Still faced with some emotional feelings, Tim and his family still faced adversity with family and friends as they pursued their new way of eating and as each day came and went, they were convinced more each day that what they had decided for their family was worth the cons. In other words, the "pros" out weighed the "cons."

What are we talking about? We are talking about a change in eating. Here are some of the changes Tim and his family faced, and faces each day. By no means does Tim and his family judge or feel they are better than anyone else because they made this "switch." Some people do feel that Tim and his family must feel like they are better than the other family who eats conventional, this is NOT the case. Tim and his family are very humbled that God has touched their hearts to know that this way of eating is for his family.

As a result to the lists below, Tim and his family have gained some health benefits as well, read the story here!

Changes in food, eating and life:

No "boxed" or packaged foods (see exceptions)

No Pasteurized liquids (milk, juice etc) except for Organic pizza night

No sodas, no exceptions

Eat only Organic food (see exceptions)

Eat 70% to 80% raw foods (see raw food description)

99% no dairy (yes this means cheese, milk, ice cream, etc)

No wheat, no wheat breads, etc (remember no "package" foods)

No prescriptions drugs (see exceptions)

No over the counter drugs

No "conventional" doctors (MD's) (see exceptions)

Limit or no media/news programs

10 minutes at least 3 days a week on a re-bounder

Limit violence programs, games and books

No chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers. (Includes bleach, and other "cleaning" supplies)

No eating out at "conventional" restaurants. (absolutely NO fast food)

No "traditional" sugar, gum, candy, etc.

Learn and maintain a healthy mindset or paradigm .

Exceptions

There is always exceptions, right? Well at least for food... (NOTE: Coming soon is Tim and Tiff's recipe book for the Organic Family, introduction to raw foods and Organic foods, money saving ideas, pizza, tortillas, chocolate shakes, muffins, 70-30 Raw meals and snacks, and much more. Including the mental challenges faced by children and adults; how to get your kids excited about it!)

Exception List: (What Tim and his family do as exceptions to 100% Organic and Raw foods)

1. Package and Boxed foods: Tim and his family pick a day, once a month to make 100% Organic pizza. Dough is made from splet flour, and thus the exception is the "package" organic cheese, and "canned" tomato paste. So basically we set aside times during the month, and for holidays and/or birthdays to eat certain dishes we always loved, but now with Organic products. So Tim and his family feel is is important to "reward" or eat things they love, just not as often and with Organic ingredients.

2. 100% Organic. There are times during the week, normally on Saturdays that the kids can pick out a "natural" chocolate chip cookie or other cookie made at the local "Natural Foods" store. Very good cookies and muffins, not 100% organic, but made "good enough." These are very limited during the week.

3. Prescription drugs and over the counter drugs: Tim and his family have eliminated all drugs from their home. Non of the kids take any prescription drugs anymore (see story) and also Tim and his wife do not as well. The whole family does not even take any over the counter drugs. Herbs and holistic healing, pain relief and cough relief is done through this holistic approach. Tim and his family understand that in the case of an accident or similar event, drugs have their place, just not as a slave for their lives. Tim and his family believe that healing comes from within, meaning, find the root cause of pain, find the root cause of the sickness to stop the disease. In Tim's daughter case, asthma was cured, allergies were cured from finding the root causes and fixing those causes, not taking a drug to cover it up!

4. Modern doctors: Tim and family just don't trust the doctors of our time. Studies have shown that doctors are being trained more and more to rely on drugs. In fact, more drug companies make it into the colleges and universities teaching and giving doctors incentives to prescribe drugs. Tim and his family believe in a "Natural" approach and will thus seek out a Natural Path (ND) medical doctor before resorting to a "traditional" doctor. Of course, in an emergency, doctors have their place. Also in Tim's opinion, doctors are needed for those individuals who are slaves to food and disease. Some individuals have past "the point of no return" in terms of disease and do require drugs to maintain their life. It's just sad that food and the medical industry had a lot to do with it!
